Dr Radha Sunnak

Radha is a specialist orthodontist and works in both private practices and as a Consultant Orthodontist at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, Brighton. She graduated as a Dental Surgeon from King’s College London in 2009 and during her undergraduate study she developed a strong interest in orthodontics. She worked as a dentist in general practice, treating families and gaining experience in all branches of dentistry before pursuing her interest in orthodontics.

Radha completed her three-year specialist orthodontic training at Bart’s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and Ipswich Hospital and gained the Membership in Orthodontics. She completed a Masters’s Degree from the Queen Mary University of London and presented her thesis internationally.

Radha worked as a specialist orthodontist in NHS and private practice in London before returning to King’s College Hospital, London to complete further post-graduate training. She passed the Royal College of Surgeons Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship exam which led to her appointment as a Consultant Orthodontist in Brighton. Radha’s extensive training has equipped her with the skills to provide high-level patient care in a reassuring manner. She believes in taking the time to explain each stage of treatment to patients, in order to create a comfortable and positive environment.

She is able to provide specialist orthodontic services to children and adults of all ages and complexities, using a full range of orthodontic appliances from traditional metal appliances to more discreet options such as tooth-colored ceramic appliances and clear aligners Invisalign.

In her spare time, Radha enjoys cycling and trekking and has achieved her goal of climbing Everest Base Camp, and is currently planning her next adventure!
