Amy is passionate about making people smile! she has a fresh, holistic approach and will spend the time to get to know you and your lifestyle in order to give you advice that is tailored to your needs; she can motivate you to achieve a happy, healthy smile. Amy is very caring and conscientious and has earned the reputation among our patients of being thorough but gentle.
Amy graduated from the University of Essex with a first-class honours degree in Oral Health Science. As well as achieving a first she won the following awards:
- The British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy Graduation Prize – for the highest overall mark in critical appraisal and research skills.
- And an Outstanding Achievement to Oral Health Science award – for the highest overall mark of the year.
As a therapist Amy can offer an array of treatments including dental hygiene, minimally invasive dentistry and cosmetic dentistry such as, white fillings, tooth whitening and air polishing. She enjoys the cosmetic side of dentistry and is very experienced in teeth whitening, she loves hearing about the confidence her patients feel after their treatment.
Amy is particularly passionate about preventative dentistry and working with young adults and children in the prevention of tooth decay and gum disease so they can learn how to maintain a healthy smile for life and to give them a positive dental experience in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Amy grew up in rural Herefordshire but loves the energy of London and everything it has to offer. Amy enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and is interested in fitness and nutrition and is a keen runner.
She loves the sunshine and enjoys travelling, some of her favourite places have been Hawaii, California, Kenya, New York, Italy and Mexico, to name a few. As a keen cook she likes to pick up recipes from her travels to try and recreate at home.
